Howry signs with D-backs
The Arizona Diamondbacks and pitcher Bob Howry have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with a team option for 2011, reports Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic. Although the terms of the deal are currently unknown, it is believed to be worth $2-3MM.
The 36-year-old righty posted a 3.39 ERA with 6.5 K/9 in 63 games for the Giants last season. We first heard the D-Backs were interested in the Arizona native a few weeks back after LaTroy Hawkins was scooped up by the Brewers.
