AUDIO: 911 calls for Barry Zito’s car crash
No less than four witnesses reported Barry Zito’s automobile accident to 911 on Mar. 30, based on calls obtained by TMZ and posted on their website Sunday.
The San Francisco Giants pitcher was not seriously hurt, though he was transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and released afterwards.
Zito was broadsided in the two-car accident that occurred near the intersection of Sunset Blvd. and Sunset Plaza Drive in the small suburb that borders Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, not far from where Zito has a home in the Hollywood Hills.
Officers investigating the accident did not deem him to be at fault. Reports are he was broadsided and his car sustained major damage.
