Giants minor league rosters set

For those of you who went to spring training this year, you got a really good at the Giants’ future. If you’re like me, you enjoyed watching the Brandon Crawfords, Charlie Culbersons and Thomas Neals of the organization put on their spikes and play alongside the big boys.

But only 25 men get to break camp. The rest of the 60+ players who were invited to spring training will head to the minors and work on their game to try and become the next Brandon Belt or Buster Posey.

The rosters for the Giants’ minor league affiliates are set. If you get a chance to catch a Triple-A game in Fresno, or a Single-A game in San Jose, do it. I got lucky last year and got to see Belt in his first Triple-A game (against the Sacramento Rivercats). That was special.
