San Francisco Giants TV broadcaster Mike Krukow, who was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 8th round of the 1973 draft and played with the Cubbies from 1976-81, orchestrated his version of “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch Friday at Wrigley Field.

“Kruk,” as he is known to fans, pitched for the Giants from 1983 to 1989. His best season was in 1986, when he went 20-9 with a 3.08 ERA for San Francisco.

In the video below, Kruk pays homage to the late Harry Caray, but notice that he does not give any love to the Cubs. When it comes time for the line, “Root, root, root for the…,” Krukow simply pushes the microphone out to the crowd and lets them finish the line. Yup, he’s a Giant homer.
