VIDEO: Brian Wilson dresses up as Larry Bird in new NBA 2K12 commerical

"Larry Bird laid it up...like a real man."
When the folks at EA 2K Sports were sitting around the table brainstorming ideas for a new commercial to promote NBA 2K12, somebody must have asked the question, “Anybody know if Brian Wilson is a Celtics fan?”
Oh, he’s a Celts fan alright.
Back in February, Wilson brought a cardboard cutout of Larry Bird into the clubhouse at Scottsdale Stadium and perched it next to his Spring Training locker.
Wilson grew up in Londonberry, N.H. (about 40 miles north of The Boston Garden). In April, he tweeted this prediction about his beloved team: Celtics spelled backwards is scitleC, and in that backwards language means “World Champions.”
So, it’s no surprise that he jumped at the chance to star in the new spot promoting EA’s awesome new video game release.
The commercial starts out by asking the question, “Who’s the greatest team ever?”
Michael Jordan is the first to appear and, of course, lets us know the ’96 Bulls are the greatest ever.
Soon, the commercial turns into a debate about whether the “Showtime” Lakers or Boston Celtics were the better team.
When Canadian rapper/R&B singer Drake says, “today’s Miami Heat plays above the rim…Larry Bird couldn’t even reach the rim,” Wilson shows up and says, “Bird laid it up…like a real man.”
In the clip, Wilson is wearing a blonde Bird-like wig under a green Celtics cap, a white 80′s-era Celtics satin jacket, green wrist bands and, of course, the classic short shorts. All the while, he’s sitting on a leather recliner petting a stuffed cheetah.
Yep. That’s B-Weez.
Jordan ends the argument by flashing his ’96 ring (the one with the 72 wins inscription) and saying, “I let my ring do the talking.”
Enjoy …..

What does Drake know about NBA? Dude, go home and watch hockey like a real canadian.
Drake was on Degrassi High for god sakes.
