Sergio Romo bobblehead, Brian Wilson garden gnome among 2012 promos for SF Giants

The San Francisco Giants announced a “sneak peak” preview of their promotional giveaway schedule this morning and it looks like a first-time-ever Sergio Romo bobblehead will lead the pack of swag for 2012.

Romo has become a fan favorite in San Francisco, especially after his dominating performance in 2011 in which he went 3-1 with a 1.50 ERA, 0.708 WHIP, and 70 strikeouts in 48 innings (13.1 SO/9).

The Romo bobblehead will be given to the first 20,000 fans who attend the May 5 game at AT&T Park against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Also being given away this year is a Brian Wilson Garden Gnome. Sweet. (Fans may remember Wilson telling ESPN’s Pedro Gomez after the All-Star Game in Phoenix that there are garden gnomes cutting down trees in his beard.)

Giants tickets go on sale Nov. 25 (“Orange & Black Friday”), so you better get your game plan together.
