Justin Christian back with Giants

According to Comcast SportsNet’s Andrew Baggarly, outfielder Justin Christian has cleared waivers and has re-signed with the San Francisco Giants as a non-roster invitee to spring training.
Christian, 31, was designated for assignment by the Giants a week ago when the club moved him to make room on the 40-man roster for infielder Ryan Theriot and reliever Guillermo Mota.
The Bay Area native batted .255/.286/.362 (0.647 OPS) with 5 doubles, 0 HR, 4 RBI, 6 runs scored, and 3 stolen bases in 51 plate appearances (18 games) with the Giants last year.
It’s unlikely that Christian will make the big league team out of camp, unless there is an injury or other roster move involving starters Angel Pagan, Melky Cabrera and Nate Schierholtz.
