Giants take on Angels, Brewers today
The Giants will split their squad today with one team, led by starter Shane Loux (0-0, 0.00), heading over to Tempe Diablo Stadium to face C.J. Wilson (1-0, 0.00) and the Los Angeles Angels.
The other split squad will host the Milwaukee Brewers (who are also fielding a split squad) at Scottsdale Stadium. Barry Zito will face Wily Peralta (0-0, 9.00) in that contest.
Both games start at 12:05 p.m. (PT).
The Brewers game can be heard on KNBR 680 AM and the Angels game can be watched on Fox Sports West in Los Angeles or on MLB’s Game Day Network.
Loux has appeared in just one Cactus League game so far, allowing two hits and striking out two in 2.1 innings of work.
