The plot was good and I think the book would have been great, however, there were a ton of repetitive conversations. Every conversation Stone or Becca had with each other and the supporting characters reiterated the same thing. In addition, I wasn't particularly fond of the urban moments in the story. Don't get me wrong I read urban, however, I didn't think the execution of the urban scenes and lingo was done well. When I read Uri, Xand and Stone say "bruh" or curse it didn't seem natural. I felt like I was reading completely different characters during those scenes. All in all the plot was good, I just didn't like the repetitiveness and urban portions of the story. I will continue to read her work. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Heart of Stone turned into a heart full of Love.... By Tiffany Howe This second series book, Heart of Stone, in my opinion is the best thus far! I just loved Stone and Rebecca! This book had me feeling so many emotions. It just broke my heart to see Stone so broken. But I was overjoyed to see Rebecca penetrate through that wall he had. Gosh, even though Stone was a very closed off and hard man, I am glad he was able to overcome his demons and find love again and forgive himself. I love the family unit of the bothers and sister. It truly is a brotherhood! Great book! Loved it from beginning to the end! Can't wait to see what's up with Uriel and Cleo! 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Riveting By Kindle Customer I enjoyed this book just as much as the others in the heart series. Quiana is my favorite. She is so strong and smart and open to the people who support her and trust her. However, I am so curious about the other woman in the story,, Cleo. Please I know there is a great story there. Hope we will not wait to long. Great writing. See all 66 customer reviews...
