By Bassocantor This book describes a promotional strategy to get a lot of genuine book reviews on Amazon in a fairly short time. The idea is to use a contest, offering a nice prize, in exchange for an honest review, or "testimonial." WHY YOU SHOULD BUY THIS BOOK This looks like an excellent strategy--not particularly difficult to implement, with a good, fast return on a modest investment. TOP 3 THINGS I LIKED There are numerous screen shots attesting to what the author is saying; for example, the sales jump up to the #1 position. See the screen shot, "Proof: #1 in My Category."♦ Good discussion on competition, and how to "stand out."♦ Clear, point-by-point list of EXACTLY what to do. A really big plus are the exact emails that the author used. And don't change anything--it works as is! the author insists. RATING OF KEY FEATURES ♦ Readability: Well-written. I liked the "Tips for You" section that concisely lists the exact steps to follow.♦ Quality of Charts/Figures: Good attesting screen shots and figures.♦ Quality of Table of Contents: Very good--pointer to key chapters.♦ Quality of Editing: Good writing style.♦ Thoroughness of Index: n/a♦ Usefulness: I believe this strategy is completely doable. ANY SPECIAL FEATURES At the very beginning of the book, there is a link to a free 25-minute video and mp3 audio book. SUMMARY All in all, a clear strategy, requiring only modest investment, with a decent "return" of a good bunch of excellent reviews. This looks like a winning strategy to me!√ A very clever book, with lots of attesting material. Nice Idea, however against Amazon's Terms and conditions for reviews By Nicole Simon While the information is layed out fine (how to run a mail campaign), the method descriped is against Amazon's Terms and Conditions.You might argue that "offering a raffle between people giving a good review" is not 1:1 described there, but there are more than enough other examples condeming that. Valuable Blueprint By mdg It's a fast read since he's direct albeit generous in sharing his successful strategy.He fully explains each step he'd taken.
