You Can't Out Exercise A Bad Diet By Tony FED As an experienced personal trainer, Roger has seen every excuse in the book. As a formerly chubby, athletic kid, he has also tried all of these excuses himself!With compassion, perspective, and knowledge, Roger takes readers on a "Relentless" journey, one that begins 10 steps before you even start. As you count down, you systematically break old though patterns, preconceived notions, and cut through the barrage of marketing hype.Once you are ready to begin, Roger offers a week by week progression, one that covers 48 specific actions, everything from selecting the right foods (hint, it's not what you've been told) to preparing basic "go-to" recipes. As the book goes on, new concepts like navigating social situations and dining out without going off track are discussed. The book concludes with ways that you can continue the process of healthful living indefinitely, by embracing self-experimentation, growth, and the "hobby" of living a fit and happy life.There are numerous diet books out there, but this isn't one of them. It's about lifestyle. He writes about food choices in a way that makes sense for daily use. While similar to the Paleo philosophy, Roger's approach is more practical because he writes in a way that gets the message across without sounding like he's explaining a new-age approach to living. Easy to read, informative, highly motivational. There are a lot of books about health and nutrition; do yourself a favor and get this one. It's more than just what to eat and what to avoid; it's about how to think about our choices, why we make those choices, and how we can improve. From reading nutrition labels, shopping in the supermarket, snacking, drinking coffee, and recognizing your lifestyle choices, this book helps pave a new course for optimum health. Greatest Nutrition Book Ever By Jennifer Sarnocinski If there were more than 5 stars, I would have chosen those as well! Roger Dickerman truly knows what he is talking about. He practices what he preaches, and he gets results - which means YOU get results too. I've known Roger for several years now, and couldn't be more proud of his accomplishments, including the publishing of this Relentless Nutrition Action Plan. I highly encourage anyone and everyone to buy this book - Roger writes for the common man/woman who struggles with making the right food choices everyday!
