Ryan Vogelsong, Dan Runzler and Freddy Sanchez will all start the season on the DL. Eli Whiteside has outplayed Chris Stewart, both offensively and defensively this spring, and has the veteran experience over Stewart. The Giants desperately need a fourth outfielder and Venezuelan League MVP Gregor Blanco has been nothing short of phenomenal this spring. The job is his. I still contend that Brandon Belt will make the club. Read my full analysis here.
